Secondary Choir and Band

The LCS secondary music department is currently offering a middle school choir, high school choir, beginning band, and a by-audition-only advanced band.  Any students in grades 7-12 can find a spot in our department!  New students may join choir at any time during the year, but only those students that already have instrumental music experience may join band mid-year.  All of these groups will have the opportunity to go to ISSMA contests throughout the year as well as a trip to perform at Kings Island in the spring.

Elementary Choir and Band

Elementary Band is fun for any 4th-6th grade student. If you play a sport, band will help you develop rhythm, breath control, and focus that increase excellence for every sport. If you are quiet, shy, or struggle to make friends, band can be where you make the best friends of your life through creating, risking, and trying new things together. If you like the spotlight, come and shine! Students can choose to play percussion, tuba, baritone, trombone, trumpet saxophone, clarinet, or flute.

For Elementary Choir, 3rd-6th grade students can sign up to be part of Lions of Judah. Lion’s of Judah help lead worship for chapel and also perform multiple concerts throughout the school year.
